The Southeast New England Agriculture Conference & Trade Show (SNEACTS, pronounced “sneex”) is the region’s largest gathering of farmers and the people who support them. Each year, more than 400 farmers, growers, producers, agricultural professionals, students and service providers come together for a full day of practical workshops, demonstrations, a bustling trade show and opportunities to connect with others working in agriculture across Southeastern New England.

SNEACTS is designed around the real opportunities and challenges facing farms and agricultural businesses in our region. Workshops reflect the diversity of agriculture across Southeast New England, with sessions relevant to vegetable, fruit and flower growers, livestock and dairy producers, nursery and landscape professionals and other agricultural sectors. Beyond production, sessions dig into the challenges of running a successful farm and business, from marketing and financial management to land access, succession, technology, conservation and long-term farm viability. Sessions are led by farmers, researchers, extension educators, and agricultural professionals who share practical knowledge and real-world experience that attendees can put to work.

Just as importantly, SNEACTS is a chance to connect with the agricultural community, to meet other farmers, find resources and service providers, exchange ideas, and build relationships across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the broader region.

SNEACTS is collaboratively organized by a steering committee representing agricultural organizations, educators, farmers, and community partners from across Southeastern New England.

Bringing kids along? Children ages 4–14 can register for the SNEACTS Kids Conference, a day of hands-on activities and agricultural learning led by professional educators from Plymouth County Extension & 4-H.
