About SNEACTS
In 2027, we’re celebrating 20 years of bringing agriculture together.
SNEACTS grew out of SEMAP’s long-running Agriculture & Food Conference, which for 16 years brought farmers and agricultural service providers together to learn, share knowledge and connect with one another.
After several years of pandemic-era conferences moving online, we saw a real need to bring people back together, in person and in community. At the same time, we saw an opportunity to think bigger about what a regional agricultural conference could be.
In 2024, SEMAP joined with agricultural organizations from across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island to create the Southeast New England Agriculture Conference & Trade Show (SNEACTS). Rather than one organization planning a conference for the region, SNEACTS is built collaboratively, bringing together organizations with different expertise, constituencies, and perspectives to shape the event.
Today, SNEACTS brings together farmers, agricultural professionals, educators, students, service providers and others from across the region. At its heart, the conference is about bringing people together to learn from one another, build relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen agriculture across Southeast New England.
