Dear Friends,
We’re sure many of you have been closely monitoring the weather, just like we have. While many of us are still cleaning up and dealing with the consequences of this past weekend's storm, the current most reliable weather models are predicting a best-case scenario of 3-6 inches of snow accompanied by 50 mph wind gusts this Sunday, February 1st, with the potential for much more precipitation. We know these conditions will be challenging for many of you who were planning to travel to the conference, and that anxiety about greenhouses, livestock, roadways, car batteries, etc, will be running high.
For all of these reasons, the SNEACTS steering committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the conference to the following Sunday, February 8th. This decision was not made lightly, as we have a large number of speakers, trade show vendors, and attendees who have been planning this alongside us for months. We also know that our beloved New England Patriots will be playing in the Super Bowl that very same day, but for a variety of reasons, this was the only backup date that worked.
We will be ending the conference a little earlier-- at 3:30 pm, to allow everyone to get home in time for Super Bowl festivities. We anticipate a very similar lineup of speakers, workshops & trade show vendors, and the same high-quality experience that you've come to expect from this conference.
Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns, stay safe, and WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE 8TH!
